Stepping into the Hotel Metropolitan felt like stepping back in time, with its heritage charm and traditional pub feel that seamlessly blends with contemporary offerings. the architecture and overall ambiance truly captured my adventurous spirit, making it a perfect base for exploring Adelaide. The rooms were surprisingly spacious and impeccably clean, offering a quiet retreat despite the lively bar downstairs. the proximity to the Central Market and CBD, as well as the easy access to transportation, made it incredibly convenient for our city break. the retro-style décor may take some getting used to, but it soon added to the hotel's unique character. One of the highlights was the variety of culinary delights available, from traditional pub fare to contemporary dishes prepared using market-fresh produce. We indulged in seasonal seafood specials and refreshing cocktails like the classic Cuban Mojito, which perfectly complemented our evenings at the live music gigs. the weekly free beer for Metro Mates added a special touch, creating a sense of community among guests. the hotel's commitment to supporting local talent and hosting live music events further enriched our experience. Hotel Metropolitan is more than just a place to stay - it's a vibrant hub of culture, music, and good vibes.
